This handmade arrow weathervane is now flying on Ned's new barn in sight of Lime Rock Race Track. Ned was determined to have his detailed request produced. His attention to the design was quite admirable. He knew just what he wanted. It was a pleasure making it for him. Ned defined the shape and size of his vane exactly. He provided pictures of his cupola and barn that allowed us to create a perfectly sized arrow vane.
It is larger than most, with a 44" arrow, and stands over 6' tall. Strength was the basis of his plan, and all parts of his vane are oversized, due to the barn being in a high wind area. His contractor built the unique cupola. The barn itself is a work of art as well.
Photographs shown making the tail, directional letters, and the arrowhead.
